SENSEI DEANS
Sensei Deans has been teaching classes at Showstoppers Martial Art and finds time to teach self-defense workshops and combative to soldiers in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve. He has intense training in the U.S. Army and is one of the highest ranking enlisted members in the Army today. Sensei Deans earned his 2nd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido WTF/ITF/ATF and is internationally registered in Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido Martial Arts Union Association.
SENSEI WILLIAMS
Sensei Williams has over 30 years of training in Martial Arts. He has served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve for over 25 years. Sensei Williams holds the title of Shihan 6th degree black belt in Shotokan Karate, with a background in Aikido, Jujitsu, Taekwon-Do and Ground Fighting Techniques. He teaches Martial Art style based upon Okinawan and Japanese Art of Shotokan.
SENSEI ANSLEY
Sensei Bobby Ansley has been studying martial arts for over 14 years. Training in Shotokan karate under Shihan Eric Blaize, his passion is to share what he's learned in hopes that others can realize their goals in the martial arts. Outside of karate he is a corporate recruiter in the clinical research field. And very amateur mechanic he enjoys working on cars on the weekend.
SENSEI BULOW
Sensei Brian W. Bulow began his study of martial arts in 1994, and was awarded his 1st degree black belt in 1999. In 2000, he began training in Shorin-Ryu (Kobayashi) under the direction of Kyoshi Eberhard G. Welch, Hachidan (8th degree black belt, also referred to as 8th Dan). Since training with Kyoshi Welch, Sensei Bulow has been promoted to the black belt rank of Sandan (3rd Dan) in karate-do and Shodan (1st Dan) in Kobudo, the study of weapons. He is a member of one of the largest Shorin-Ryu associations in the world, Shorinkan, located in Okinawa, the birthplace of karate. He also travels to Okinawa to train under the supervision of the head of the Shorinkan association.
Originally hailing from Flint, Michigan - Sensei Chris Lewis has been a Raleigh, North Carolina native for 10 years. His martial arts journey started when he was looking for an activity to do with his daughter. He immediately fell in love and committed 4 to 5 days a week training with his instructors Shihan Eric Blaize and Renshi Bobby Ainsley. The personal growth and relationships that has resulted from his training are unmatched. Sensei Chris has competed locally as well as internationally for The Way Shotokan Karate-Do and AFMA organizations. His international experience came in 2012 competing in Panama City, Panama at the AFMA Championships where he was able to bring home several medals in kumite and self defense.
